Practice Manager

Yarlene Hernandez, MBA, has devoted her professional career to the behavioral health field. At NYU Langone-Brooklyn, she co-wrote grants and facilitated grant-funded programs designed to integrate mental health services and primary medical care. She managed many of the details of data collection for the programs, especially patient outreach. Yarlene also became a case manager for patients living with or at risk of HIV/AIDS and patients diagnosed with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD). She was passionate about helping these populations live healthier, happier lives.

Yarlene realized that her leadership skills, along with exceptional dedication to patient care, made her an excellent candidate for an MBA program with an emphasis in Healthcare Administration. She received her master’s degree from Texas Woman’s University.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Yarlene continues to be a pillar to her community. She enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, including her beautiful Dobermans.
