The transition to high school or college often reveals a significant gap between a student’s cognitive ability and their organizational skills. Dr. Caroline Carberry and Dr. Megan Moxey, clinical psychologists specializing in executive functioning and ADHD, are hosting a five-day intensive designed to close that gap and build a foundation for success.

The Details

  • Intensive: Monday, July 6th – Friday, July 10th
    • M-Th, 10am-12pm; in-person at Industry City (students)
    • Fri 12-1:30pm; virtual via Zoom (parents)
  • September Check-In: Sunday, September 13th
  • Cohort: Small group (8-10 students) for individualized attention
  • Who: Rising 9th-12th graders and incoming college first years

  • Tracking assignments and time management
  • Task prioritization and initiation
  • Building self-advocacy skills

  • Fostering independence at home
  • Supporting your child without “hovering”
  • Troubleshooting roadblocks in the maintenance of new habits

  • For Students (Sun, Sept 13th, time TBD); in-person at Industry City
  • Share wins from the first week of school
  • Get support to help you stay on track

Investment

  • Cost: $1,200 (inclusive of all materials and the parent session)
  • Note on insurance: many families ask about out-of-network reimbursement. While we can provide a superbill for services, coverage depends on your individual plan.
